Project Details

Orion Construction was the successfully awarded General Contractor for the scope of complete re-roofing, water proofing and update of mechanical equipment.

As par of that scope, GSA requested the installation of a new fall protection system that replaced the existing non-engineered system located on the main roof level and to add a new system on the upper roof level. They turned to FLS experts to analyze fall hazards and develop an updated OSHA compliant system to protect rooftop workers.

On the main roof level, FLS designed and installed four wall mounted fall protection systems which replaced the existing system. On the upper roof level FLS designed and installed four new rooftop mounted fall protection systems. All systems are designed for two users (fall restraint).
